Saturday looks pretty light but maybe light wind sail on the pond.
Sunday looks more promising with a 15-25kt southerly, good for the river, pond and Clifton

Anyone get out?
I was down the other end of the pond, doing a bit of kayaking and fishing with the kiddies. Saw whitecaps when we left about 2.30, but no cars at rigging area then.
Looks like a stronger breeze Sunday, and no kiddies to look after!

Got a late sail on the river for an hour. Didnt come in til about 3:30 and died out at about 5. Suspect anywhere east of derwent would have been good. And probably for more than an hour or 2.

Had great play on the pond at cremorne.
Got a bit hairy with 15 sailors in the low tide channel.

Great day.

The wavesailing President did a chicken gybe and went to the pond.. meanwhile 10 hardcore wavesailors ripped it up in 20 knot southerly that turned up with a nice head high swell. Brett, Tim, Rob, veitz, Kazz and everyone were landing double forwards...

good turnout today.. 10 at Clifton and 3km away on pond 15 plus!!!!
wow 25 windsurfers.
Good speed FOS, you must be wrapped!!

Pretty cool Breno and Fos only 1 away from 30!!!
Must have been at least 20 hit the pond I counted 14 in the water at one time, Damo Cliffy is so old school.

Nearly a traffic jam at the car park end of the pond, a few close calls but no accidents, unlike me and my daughter Rosie who happened to have a head on collision in our driveway, will get the chainsaw out tomorrow and clear away that blind spot

Cliffy was fantastic yesterday finally after lot's of rigging, derigging, rigging. After a great sail though it was very disheartening to come back to my car and find, the women that smiled at me when parking her red Camry stationwagon next to me left 2 nice dents and red paint on my drivers door. She was gone when I got back to my car, left no note of appologies or contact. I don't understand the mentality of some people with their don't give a s..t attitude. Very disappointing when a lot of time & effort is made into looking after ones possessions and someone has the mind to do that.

That sucks Karen - spoiled a great sail - I had a ball. My yougest son managed (don't ask) to leave his wallet and iphone in the carpark after skateboarding last week. He went off to Lauderdale after that and 30 minutes later we had a knock at the door and this young guy had found the phone and wallet and came and returned them. Moral of the story -there is the good, the bad and the ugly - you got a bady.

And the other moral to the story, park where Brett was parked yesterday.

The ding doctor in North Hobart, does a really good job if they are smooth, intact paint dents, .
What a bummer though!!

Yeah it's off to the Ding Doctor, had quite a few visits to the Doc over the years. They're excellent for getting hail stone dents out too.
Anyway I'm a big believer in Karma

this is what happens when we go all politically correct and give women the right to drive.
