WOW, ground swell .....waves without massive cross chop.....a reasonable distance between waves, these are things you never see on the north coast, it looks nice:)

Al, Goats is very consistent with a NE and seabreeze on top. Often have to dog out through the rip about 50m to pick up the wind but nearly always planing out the back.
Nothing like the west coast buts it's the best we've got in the south. Actually a great place to learn, heaps of fun and the wind usually picks up around 3.30 and goes on to sunset.......and we love it

We've been waiting to see you on the water
Best time of year from now to Christmas so make the most of it
Seabreezes are always good at the lagoon.....except last weekend, don't know what happened then.
If you're not sure what's happening send me a text 0417577884, we're watching it every day.....Prue reckons I have ADHD, bipolar and obsessive compulsive disorder...I told her all sailors are the same

Dorans offshore was also not bad ( actually it was pretty bad!). I have heard goats was a bit of a dogging session to catch a wave, looked good in the pictures though. Lets hope we get some good seabreezes soon. (nice sail on the lagoon tonight though, but coldddddd!!!!!!!)
ps good to hear from wowza79, thought you had gone walkabout man, you know with the fireflys!.

My theory is the sport makes you ADHD, bipolar & OCD because you can never really tell when it's going to blow and it leaves you waiting anxiously all the time, acting like we're obsessed because we're always checking the internet, looking out the window, watching the trees, watching any piece of water that we can. Because if you miss it coming sometimes you miss the whole session. No other sport is like it (apart from kiteboarding). Most other sports you can just go when you feel like it and it's organised. And the feeling the sport gives you is so addictive & satisfying (if it's a good day that is).
