G'day folk,

Planning a trip for a couple of weeks in October, one I've wanted to do for a while now. Heading over on the spirit with the car.

Where's best to head for wave sailing that time of year? I was thinking over to the west coast?

Any advise on sailing spots (wave only) would be hugely appreciated. Feel free to p.m me your secret spots, I'll keep my mouth shut...
Be keen to sail with some of the locals.

Also any other touristy recommendation welcome, what to see, where to eat/drink and stay...not that I care but the gf is coming along so have to pretend it's not all about windsurfing.

Cheers

Duncan

DunkO - keep your eyes on this forum.

If it is windy there is usually a group of us sailing, somewhere, and you will be here in our windy season.

It isn't Hawaii, but it is windy.
