My Chinook down-haul winch went walk-about (was pinched) on Sunday from the lawn of the Sandy Bay Sailing Club. A bit of a pain when I came in to rig a smaller sail. Went home in a grump and missed some rare sailing time in a fantastic sea breeze. Message for everyone to take care with their gear...

That's no good James, thanks for the heads up. I often leave gear out there, so might have to start keeping stuff in the car/trailer. Be good to catch up again for a sail soon. Are you going to be heading up to PDYC for Formula racing?

Dave, yes the message is take care and worth the effort to keep stuff in your car. I will be heading up to PDYC for the Formula racing again this year - looking forward to hopefully some classic Beauty Point sailing conditions...
