Tomorrow looks the pick of the days up here. This whole work thing never co-operates with the wind.

Conditions at Bell Buoy on Tuesday were pretty average. The big swell had dropped more quickly than expected and the wind was gusty and mostly less than 20 kts. The very high tide was producing a powerful rebound which was warping the messy swell even further. Regardless it was fun to be out there on the shortest day of the year. When the sun was out the temperature was probably more than 9 or 10 degrees but at other time it felt damn cold.

The sailor in the photo is Jason.
