Will make a call Thursday evening, late. At this stage it's not looking promising for the south and the chances of running an event is slim.
Might be good up the NE somewhere if anyone wants to chase the wind.
Shame if it's not on but if some are keen can we still have a light wing sail at the pond early Saturday???
Sorry guys but the forecast doesn't even show it getting to 15 knots and its cloudy with rain.
The event as a WT slalom round has been cancelled.
If it ends up being enough wind for a light wind local race Saturday morning then I will put the buoys out and have a briefing at 10am. (stay tuned)

So does that mean this round gets postponed or do we go straight to round 2. Bummer because the forecast was looking good yesterday
Thanks for the notice Kaleb! Fingers crossed for wind, next time. If anyone was looking for a sail over the weekend. The possibility of Ansons bay on Sunday was looking quite good. Weed fins required though.

I would be keen for it to postponed but the wind doesn't want to play this season. I doubt everyone could get another day together this year.
Perhaps we have a wild card weekend next year?
Good call given the forecast. Unfortunately the southerly came in when not really forecast and with the help of some unforecast sun. Possibly lots of hot air somewhere having an effect? Global warming?
