Hello Nick, only just checked the forum. Not sure where the forecast came from but it is just about dead calm here. Thinking of going up north for the next learn to sail day if the winds oblige. Hope to catch up then.

Andy is up here on holidays at the moment and I ran into another bloke at St Helens the other day who may still be around. Crossed fingers for the wind today but tomorrow looks more promising.

Well the wind arrived about 1.00 and Andy, Ryan and myself hit the water in 15-25 knots of north east. We even had a couple of kitesurfers join us which makes it 5 times more people out on the water than usual.
Had one of the best sessions so far out on the bay. Good runs up to about 1k across the bay with some small waves for fun. We didn't want to come in but after 3 hours I just had as much as the body could handle. Andy was stoked and didn't want to go home.
Forecast is the same for today and with luck will catch up with Andy and anyone else interested again out on the water.
Don't you just love summer.
