Looking like there should be some wind around on Saturday ![]()
Down south low tide is around 10am and high tide about 5pm, direction is forecast to be Northerly in the morning swinging WNW in the arvo so we "should" get a good sail somewhere ![]()
Dorans will probably be the place to go around lunchtime.
Watch out guys we may have a new member for the GPS Challenge out this weekend. I have just bought Fergus a 4.2 Severne Swat and he is keen to start sailing AT LAST. Now I might get more TOW![]()
I reckon I might go out from Dodges Ferry around midday and sail off-shore wind back and fourth along 7-mile beach. Been meaning to try this for ages and tomorrow could be the day. Wind is forecast to be northerly, dropping and swinging NW in the afternoon, making getting back to Dodges Ferry not too hard. Plan to sail 107 and 7.0 or 7.8m, depending on the wind.
Forecasts are all over the place, but Explorer still saying northerly early afternoon, so Steve and I are still planning to head down to Dodges at midday!! See you there Bear!
