Looks like Saturday could be on at Park with a strong SW and they say the points might be working so there will be a decent swell

I was just trolling around the internet as I do and look what I found.

Wave sailing is commonly held to be the pinnacle of windsurfing

If it is south west and swell too big then Seven mile maybe?. Seven mile likes south/south west more though. Maybe Bamba reef?/ or Blue lagoon accross to the end of Seven Mile again.
Hopefully Somewhere

Can we get Dave M and Steve out to do some wave sailing?

I've only seen it on video from the 80s

wind looks to have been averaging around 20 knots on Norfolk Bay since I managed to tweak my eyes open with gusty rain squalls above that.

will probably head to Carlton/Park.

Finally got a sail, determined to get in the waves but today it was not meant to be. Found Fos riiged up and ready to hit Sandpits with a 5-15k SW and big sets close to half mast and nasty....he all guts and no brains
We talked him into sensibility and he followed us smart blokes down to Park just as the wind dropped off....ha ha
Rob and I went down to Conolies Marsh rigged big, wind slowly picked up to 25-30knots....overpowered but good to sail somewhere different
I think between all the wave seekers we used a tanker full of petrol

Yeah Russ, just checked GPSTC and looks like a good crowd at Doran's today.
I opted for () domestic duties today, have tomorrow arvo "off" if the wind holds.

I spent from 9 till 2 looking for a sail and finally gave up.

Last I heard from Ant he was looking for a spot to get into the marsh and crashed into a tree.

Oh well no more wind till thursday

Plenty of wind on Bruny Sat.
Cloudy Bay 25-35knts, swell not massive, blown flat by the wind.
Bloody cold, raining on & off all day.

Funny I thought you vanished from my phone call a little quick too. I don't remember Connellys Marsh having that many roads for you to get lost on. hope it was worth it, sailing there brings back a lot of fond memories.

I didn't end up having a sail, looked at Dorans and didn't see anyone out, must have been a lull in the weather.
