I really can't get my head around the summer we have had so far.
I would love a bit of sun and warmth. Everything is too grey and damp
God bless and goodmorning

ARRRGH...Stop ya whining about the weather. It's been bloody awesome. I can't remember such a windy year for along time.
There was plenty sunshine to be had at Sandy Bay for a sunset sail this arvo. SB , Ken and me lapping it up. Marred only by a kilter casting shadows. What is it with these blokes? In a huge River the kiter has to come and get in the way! What are they trying to prove?

I agree with relic sitting on the side line in the windiest season for a decade, a quick look back reminds me I missed at least 12 gale force Nw half dozen with decent size swell at the once thought to be dead Carlton. Next came some strong wet southerly winds including a wavesailing comp at Park with wind and a rare Cremorne sandbar session and board breaking cliffy for days on end! , the day after Cremorne kaleb and Damien tore up Goats beach which had banks allowing 3or 4 bottom turns while Appleman tore his foot.To finish the year off and start the Newyear more gale force westerly wind including a 165 km gust on mt Wellington can't wait until it 7meter sail weather again all this wind is wearing my small sails out

Yeah Gnoredoffnuts what is wrong I've made you a rich man with all that broken gear, I agree with the above but throw in last weekend with record breaking speeds, looping heaven at Low Head and mindblowing wavesailing at Marrawah all on the same day

Oh Kazz i know!
A warm steamy bathroom seen works well for your maiden fern.
Facing south with dappled light.
Be very sparce with NPK fertilizer, in fact just a few sprinkles of sheep poo does the trick.
I hope this helps your fern blossum..
Now off to my speed crochet club.

It's owner forgets to water it sometimes cause she's too busy windsurfing. They're very SNAP's (sensitive new age plants) and need lots of TLC.
Bugger the crochet I'm off Base Jumping

Unable to bring myself to garden, and needing some material for a tentative foray into forum posting, went for a sail late afternoon yesterday on Cremorne beachfront. Unfortunately I have absolutely nothing worth posting despite spending 1.5 hours reaching back and forth in the almost strong-enough easterly on the isonic 115 with 6.5 gator and 420 fin, with only 9.37 knots coming up on the dial of my brand new GT-31 ( ).

Off to Marrawah for a week tomorrow, seems summer has arrived just in time.
Not a lot of wind on the horizon although sat & sun could be OK then light NE pattern for a few days.
Looks better for surfing than sailing (boys will be happy) although you never know up there.

Yes beautiful day yesterday , What a glorious summer day!!!.
Baby oil splashing everywhere while we all baked in 30 plus degrees
No wind, just as well as it was perfect for SUP on the pond late in the afternoon.
Sam, Morgan, Jodie, Kaleb, Erin & Freind, veitz , Phil and Brett all participated in our new national sport, while our long lost president sat at home trying to get his wind meter to read over 5 knots so he could practice a tack on the garden pond
Windsurfing, this glorious summer, So old school..
