Seeing as we really only have two slalom events a year (Port Sorell and Stanley) maybe this could be brought up at the AGM at Stanley In March?. It would be nice to have one down Hobart way,is it a hassle to organize another round? We probably couldn't have it before Stanley but maybe next season?

Any way what your thoughts?

I agree

More slalom down south...

This year would be fantastic, I am sure this will get strong support.

I am 100% behind two southern events.

My thoughts are this. If we have 5 rounds instead of 4 rounds then maybe we could then have 1 round we could discard. That would be a round you miss or a round that you have done badly in. Not sure if that should be a slalom only round or if a formula round would come into it.

Yer I'd love to have a slalom event down south. We've got spots for every wind direction, we just need wind when it's held!

Sounds great, but doesn't necessarily need to be organised by WT or inlcuded as part of the state titles (although be good to have another round). For example, we could have a Southern Slalom Series that comprises a series of smaller, less formal racing events held when conditions are suitable. Probably still attract a good following, but could be held just on a single day if need be to keep it all easier to manage rather.
