Another Lord Howe trip done with an amazing 11 days sailed out of 12.
I managed to sail about 9 or 10 different JP boards and feel a lot fitter than I did two weeks ago.
Thanks Tim, Tas and Lauren for you hospitality and thanks to all the other sailors who made the trip and shared some great days on the water.
LHI is a great place. I was there about 20 years ago but there certainly wasn't anywhere to hire windsurfing gear. Did you take your own or can you hire it now?

Its a great set up with all the gear in a shed a few metres from the water.
Lots of boards from the 77l JP fsw (which I really enjoyed) through to the Rio S which is great for cruising or teaching the kids. My other favorites were the fsw 84 and 92 and also all the JP supersports (very fast and smooth).
Great to see you had fun.
I'm thinking of this next year. Hopefully the JP stuff will still be there
Next July august sorta time
Hi Al
Nice vid, i remember those sessions. Lord Howe was an excellent location and Tim, Tas and Lauren were terrific. The gear was top notch and provided an excellent range of JP FSW, Freeride & Freerace boards. The Rigs were amazing with all the top of the line Neil Prydes.
Anyone looking to dodge the no wind blues in Queensland should be booking now (no more sitting on the beach complaining)

Hi Curt
It was another great trip, I am already planning next year.
The only downside was flying back into a wet cold Launceston ( 9 C and raining in the middle of the day).
9C wow! that would have hurt, BTW did you get any of the footage i gave to Ralph? had you doing a few pretty good jumps. Cant wait to get back next year, really light winds here at the moment, pumping all day with my 8.5 and 140 liter is a far cry from the 4.7/93 liter weather we had LOL! Hi to the wife and kids :-) ![]()
