Hey fellas, I'm gonna be back home in Tassie next week, for the first visit since 2004. I started windsurfing in 2005 -- you do the math! That's right, born and bred Tasmanian but never windsurfed there.

So...is it any good? Will boardies and a short-sleeve 1mm neoprene shirt be enough for the cold conditions?

Oh, and I don't have any equipment there. That could throw a spanner in the works...hmmm...

Nahh...have you tried flying with windsurfing gear lately? It's becoming such a hassle, probably not worth it for a 1 week trip.

Besides, I find the water in Bali a bit on the cold side; how am I going to cope in Tassie? Brrrr...

If I do happen to pass by a beach where some of y'all are sailing, I'll be sure to stop and say hi. I might even let you hold my hot water bottle!

Damn, just watched the videos from Henty, looks pretty happening! But I definitely don't have the cold weather gear, or any intention to catch pnuemonia, for that matter. Will plan better next time.
