A post for the trippers to Geraldton spring/summer this year.

Morgan and i am booked for leaving 20th October , return around the 10th november.
Virgin have cheap flights of 270 ish one way, powered site at sunset city caravan park $35 a night, this takes two people and a van and tent.
car hire is $51 for a van with fridge/ cooker/ sleeper. ( cars cheaper, big vans dearer!)
Obviously people can search there own deals but this is what Jez/Houston / Paul /Tim and i have found.

Is the Spot still accessable? If so you'll need a 4WD or it will be a hell of a lot of trudging over sand dunes to get there.

Tickets went up overnight by about $70-100 one way. ,
Keep an eye out for specials again and post here when you do.
Mine were $262 one way with Virgin,
I am sure there will be another special soon.

Qantas has a special on at the moment, tickets about $279 from Hobart to Perth. I just booked my flight over for the 22nd of October

A return ticket might be needed too Jez! Or are you planning on staying there to progress to the advanced tutorial trip in December. Hopefully the October trip can teach you the basics

Those boys are too camp for the 'Gero' trip (note Houston, you're going to Gero, not Geri!!!! Although you will always be a Geriatri.....c)

Gerro Jumpers doesn't work that's why we called ourselves the Gerri Jumpers.............................. but you might be right the Gero Deros has a nice ring to it.
