This is just fantastic, three out of the top five sailors leading Australia's overall rankings are Tassie Boys.

I am comming 53 and I am proud of that, fantastic efforts Kaleb, Dave and Anthony

Kazza, I don't think you've even tried for a NM, as it's quite low, and you could bump your distance up quite easily too - easy points and would put you into first place!! October should be a good month for you.

PS You're coming 4th in the Womens world ranking for 2011 and 8th in the Womens Overall (since the comp began) - all nice targets for you!!

What old blokes? rankings only mean that your committed and go out regularly, the only way to test ability is to all sail together at the same spot

Thanks for the tips Dave, I'm keen as mustard. I'm sure the new gear is going to help.
Jodi's up there too and I'm sure once the weather warms up she'll be out there ripping it with her new gear (that's if she can get it off Kaleb)

I think we proved our ability at Sandy Point...A Tassie guy won overall each day in the first week....I think. Now to test our ability in the choppy waters of WA

I am, just haven't had the conditions yet to do 8km or so long runs. Either been too off shore or gusty from the wrong direction.

That's a bit of a motivator, coming in 10th overall in womens and 6th in my age group, not bad considering I haven't sailed much. I'm a bit of a wuss with the cold weather so will need to warm up a bit first!
