Sorry Gill, have a date with a buck that weekend down south. Sounds like a great idea though. Hopefully the wind is good beforehand and you get a good turnout.

With the wind a bit on the quiet side at the moment we need an event and an excuse to talk sailing.
I started adding a second skin of bricks to the oven on the weekend, so it should be very toasty.

The Pizza Oven is complete..! I have made a giant brick easter egg which now should be even better at pizza production.
It also looks like we may have some wind on the weekend for a sail before the night.
By the way there is some space in the backyard for a tent if the drinking gets out of hand.

We plan to start about five. Its beautiful and sunny out at low head today. We may spend from 3-4:30 at lagoon playing with the longboard.

Some photos from last night.

Maybe this should be a yearly event for when the wind deserts us.
Thanks Johnny for the multiple projection experience and such smooth running of the technical aspects of the evening.
Thanks Adam and Chris for the fab chocolate and ice cream dessert and Paul for the chocolate cookies. !

Around 20 pizzas were made varying from Steve's cheese free gourmet pizza with home made sauce garden tomatoes, and Ben' s premix, in a bag, meat lovers Tandori chicken, ham, salami, bacon pizza, it was delicious. !!!!!

We run a similar event down here , beginning of wind and end of season.
Ours usually end up with chainsaw and flame throwers late in the evening.
