I mentioned it once...and I think I got away with it.
SShhhhhh! Dont scare it away, might be a salmon in it for someone![]()
I once saw WindGuru forecast winds upto 58 knots - Friday says 63 knots - OMG!
PS - I'm heading to Henty Thursday night - might stay Saturday as well!!
Windguru forecast for the SE of TAS. Highest gust I have ever seen on Windguru prior to this was 58 knots - later this week it's showing 63 knots!
Might as well at least get excited over the forecast while it is looking so good and just hope that we actually get to experience it!!
RDO today. Dedication or stupidity? Hopefully the rain/hail stops here for a sail this arvo. Not overly keen though considering the lightshow yesterday arvo. Pretty sure masts are good conductors.
Be safe pffft, henty would have to be one of the craziest places not only to sail but getting there is just so gnarly haha![]()
Yep, i will keep an eye on the forecast will be in for either sat or sun. Looking good at Port Sorell too.
Excellent Johno. Should be OK going through Derwent Bridge in the evening, but not so good in the early morning. If I have to though, will drive the long way around (done that before). Will keep an eye on the forecast. Don't want to miss Friday if it is good, but the whole weekend is looking pretty good too.
Jez, yes, happy to share a cabin in Cabin Park!!
I'll be flying up to the tropics saturday for some Vitamin D, so I'll miss all the big stuff, oh well plenty of life left. I'll be thinking of you all while I'm diving the reef in my shorty wetsuit![]()
Buzzy sorry for the silly questions! I am doing some cold sailing research,as i currently only own a 2x2 springy and with winter rapidily approaching i may as not reinvent the wheel but look at my learn-ed friends in Tassie![]()
EB I think you will need a 4x4 to get into Henty in summer or winter![]()
