I noticed in another thread that in the past someone had been sailing at Dianas Basin. I've looked at it a couple of times but always thought it looked a little shallow and the trees would break the wind up too much. Is there anyone out there who has sailed this spot and is it worth a try? Which winds would suit it? I would guess a northerly but maybe a south east as well?

Iceman, don't know anything about the basin so can't help you
Got to talk you into a GPS, after years of poo.ta bashing banter us lauderdale louts realised we couldn't shut them down so now we all own one.
Sh.t load of fun, especially for you as you're sailing a fair bit on your own.

Hello Ant. Had a quick look. I will have to get to Henty one day. When I finally get some super money I'll be buying a slide on camper for the ute and will visit more often.
