Well the double forward reference may make him feel better anyway
Sympathies for Dave Jack who sustained a major fracture to his lower leg while sailing front beach Lauderdale yesterday.
After spending a hour helplessly ( and in great pain too!) floating, he was finally noticed and rescued by John Palmer and fellow Kiteboarders!!!. .
According to his wife, he went to surgery today for pins and plates.
No doubt he will be out of action for a while so we all wish him a speedy recovery.
Three cheers for Dave

Bad luck Dave. Hope the old body repairs quickly! Let this be a lesson to all the kids out there! What that lesson is I have no idea, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with being too old

Repair well old fella.
I can remember some other bad luck DJ experienced some years ago at Marrawah one easter. Howling 35-40knts at Bluff Beach,Dave pulls out a brand new 3.5 sail and carefully laid it out on the sand. Big gust of wind and next you know the sail has been totally shredded on the tailgate of his Laser. The look on his face was priceless.
