thanks for the compliments. I was visiting from WA in January. Bit unlucky with the wind, but the days I had were well worth hauling the 100+ kg of luggage through Melbourne....
Only shared the waves with one local and two German visitors (on the NW coast), everyone was super friendly!
Besides windsurfing, Tasmania is truly great for touring around, great scenery, food and wine/beer. Just take some wetties for the kids so they also enjoy the water (mine are spoilt with the long WA summer)...
I use a Gopro (also for some time lapses) and a Panasonic TM700. Both cameras shoot high frame rate, great for slow motion.

I've been over to WA a couple of times and you ceratinly are spoilt with wind and waves, Tassie wind is pretty erratic compared to the west but we still love it
