Hey both of you northerners!
Bellbuy is looking like offering up a nice sail from late morning. Comfortable wind and good tides.
Anyone not included in 'both' who counts themselves as an early career wave sailor, or aspirant, today might be the day to venture onto the bumps...
But you don't look well Grevil.
Those 4 photographs of you clearly show that you are in a desperate state, and going down hill.
In the third one you look positively green.
You really shouldn't work in your condition...
You might be contagious!
Goodness knows what horrid disease you are likely to spread today.
You should be isolated, and in contact with as few people as possible.
There is something clearly not right with you.
You are probably in need of a 'flush'.
Perhaps a salt-water enema...
I just can't believe how irresponsible you are!
I can vouch for the strength of the seabreeze at the mo. I hit the water yesterday with a 5.0 rigged in 25 knots and within 20 minutes it was a smoking 30 knots and I was all over the place. I was short of time so stuck it out for another 20 min and then headed back to town. It was fun to sail the %100 sandy East beach on the low tide. Hopefully today is similar though a bit more swell would be good.
You guys must get so sick of the wind don't know how you cope or why you'd even bother we had a lovely day in the south about ten rigged up at Carlton bit windy when we rigged I must confess but by the time we hit the beach the wind had dropped just in time for a lovely picnic.
Some went back to Dorans found the wind which was obviously disappointing but luckily for the second time in the day the wind dropped just as we hit the water all in all a wonderful day with wonderful people we are truly blessed only hope one day you guys up north can find a day to meet on the beach without that confounded wind kicking sand into your picnic basket. ![]()
I hope that you learnt your lessons from the northern wave sailors, and made SAND CASTLES....
It sounds truly idyllic!
