Winter is the best time of year. Hate to miss the next 6 months without mine. Hoops is build customs BTW.
Sure Hoops Will do a swap/ trade.ha ha ha
Quick ring around to team riders ,heaps of boards under 100 L
There's a black box 107L and that's it..
Hope you fine one Josh, if that's what you want
The tuna is on it's last legs and going soft under the pads. Itl never die though. Nothing else is as good in 10 knots or less
I'd love to get a replacement made for the tuna with a few refinements. I'd be so disappointed if it wasn't as good though.
12 month warranty ran out 8 years ago! Reckon after building 10 I'd have something like the 110 Nuevo!
rossys building a 112 quad
should be ready any day
twist his arm and reckon he might loan it to u as a demo Josh
rossys building a 112 quad
should be ready any day
Hey Maris, he sure is and I can't wait to take delivery of mine !!!
Rossy might have a pic or two of the board being built that he can whack up for all to see, if not I'll snap a few when I take delivery (are you bringing it up ;-)
No pics Scotty
its rossys own board. He's 100 kg
he knows batesys after a 100 plus and I think he plans to leave it down south for boys to try
unless kev wants to leace us his?
reckons he should have it finished and some photos later is week
It's gt the new rocker line we ran over summer. Gives a bit away in speed and early planing but awesome on waves
these are best oes Wave boards ever built by big margin. all little tweaks we've done plus big changes have come together
am in qld sailing se trades flat but windy and warm
looks like missed a good one at Middleton.
team was charging. Imagine what timmy would do on a board that wasn't built before he was born
watch out Levi
Ha ha, i dont like to rib timmy about his old single fin cos he still rips on it but yer, its retro thats for sure. its not too cold yet! It was a pretty good day but volume was definetly your friend because the lulls were deep and the waves were clean so no dramas with the 100 plus boards. Tuna is about to die. One day we should turn it into a park bench and concrete it in at day st!
I had a good chat to timmy about the single fin GOYA he has been riding on Sunday. He loves it, it enables him to get so low on his bottom turns, he can touch the boom on the water (he reckons he couldnt do this on any of the newer, wider quad or thruster boards) -
I have also spoken to the lads at GOYA about Francisco and his preference for the narrower smaller volume boards, when everyone else is riding the floatier and wider boards. They all laugh at his boards, you see all of the new boards all lined up, then theres a section of Frans customs, all around 65-70 litres and narrow.
Horses for courses
PS: Timmy could ride a fence post and still rip on it
Definitely horses for courses Dave, but in Franciscos case he's more the pony size and we are at the other end of the scale on the Clydesdale size.
after seeing and chatting to him last year I reckon he'd be lucky to be 60kg dripping wet !
As for the new shapes Rossy and Maris have been working on, the 93 lt Hot Rod I took over to Maui last year is the best board I have ever ridden. As Maris outlined, the 112 has been slightly tweaked based off the original Hot Rod concept. simply can't wait to get hold of the new board !
I really like the sound of the oes Maris . When conditions are light I'd rather more rocker cos planing on the way out is rare. Just want a big floaty waveboard purely designed to ride waves
Middle board is mine, a proto at 215 cm x 66cm x 111 L , Windwarriors on the outside is 219 cm x 66 x 12 .3 L.
Best to contact me direct Josh or check out our new wesite that has just gone up .
I will try and get my 112 over to middleton asap but once I have got it wet myself first.
