We had some good sails this week. The lake was great to sail on we didn't have to walk out far at all from the spit . Sail on big gear this morning with Andreas till lunchtime. Had some powered up runs.

Hope I'm still like Geoff and enjoying my sailing at 70,

Lake still full mostly choppy everywhere only some flat water behind the spit, small runs but good for some gybe practice.

What the hell are you on about Jimbo!!!!!
I was out at the spit yesterday, heaps of room to set up!!
the water level will rise a bit if really blowing.
Bit over grown but ok, must be wanting to keep it to himself

Meteye has been pretty accurate. Last 10 days only light wind and one day of the famous SE over 20 knts. Being the lake pretty high you can bring a big board and sail with a pointer fin if its light. The place is awesome and the wind pretty steady.

I sailed the last 2 days 5.3m and 94l @ Nene Valley.
Waist high last night and shoulder high Monday night. Typical February swell on the seabreeze.
