This is one of the best 3.6 sail ever tried, why? is soft, soft feeling, top range of use, excellent stability, and is fast and really light in the hands. The mast was 340 Gorilla, I settled my board in twin fin mode 15.5-15.5, usually I use my ultrakode in three fins mode, but in B&J conditions I prefer twinzer mode I don't need grip I prefer loose feeling. The wind was super strong.
Test conditions, spot Garda Lake

Have you used a blade 3.5 or 3.7 in similar conditions and if so how would you compare them to the s1pro?

Not personally, my friends said that balde is super super stable but S1 pro is built different.... HyperSpider is magic. I am owner of a Blade pro 5.0 2017.
What impressed me about my 3.6 S1 pro is the range of use, but also is light really light. Tested in onshore conditions and strong wind was really super in the poket of the wave I love this sail.

I own an S1 pro 2017 3.6 and absolutely love it. It's light, soft and maneuverability is great.

Blades are more powerful and stable; usually heavier guys tend to like blades more due to availability of power and stability... when lighter ones enjoy the S1 light handedness and maneuverability in the wave.

I total agree with you 3.6 S1pro is so light, in my opinion is the first 3.6 in my life that is also good in the surfing, usually I don't like surfing with a normal 3.7 sail, but with this 3.6 S1 pro yes, is not only for Pozo conditions... also my 4.0 S1 pro the same, tested in Manawa (Mauritius) was superrrr, soft, and great range of use.
