Having switched from the Apex Pro mast to the Apex Blue mast for my Mach 6 7.5, I have now moved on to the new Apex Team Mast 460.

The new mast is superbly made; the issue with the connection ferrule seems to be resolved, and everything looks very stable.

My first two sessions with the Apex Team Mast were very impressive. The mast is extremely stiff and brutally converts every gust of wind into forward drive.

It's very high-performance, but as a non-pro, it overwhelms me. The high physical effort quickly drains my energy, and my sessions were much longer with the significantly softer Apex Blue.

What have your experiences been like with this high-performance mast?
