Screen dumps of the file I gave Stuart not that they show much. 236 x 57 x 84.5 liters. Double concave to flat V, spiral V side panels, tri fin. My high wind Wave/ Port Phillip Bay board. Will be great to see the photos as it progresses.

After having to rebuild the cutter motor due to seized bearings I was able to cut the deck and outline of Martin's board

Today the slot boxes arrived from Flikka Boards for Martins board. I will get the two 10cm boxes in and then finish shaping the deck and the heel inlays ready for the deck to go on

Rider, This one for me is a thruster so there is an 8 inch US to go in. I suspect Stuart is up to no good with the other 2 boxes,

It's been an interesting few weeks. We brought some land down by the beach and then 2 days later told that we had to move out of our rental in Sydney. So moving to coast a year early! Today I finally had time to finish shaping the board and cut out the reinforcements all ready for putting the deck Hd foam on this weekend.

Tremendous effort! Looks like you have a great setup there, hope the new place is accommodating.

Thanks for posting the progress, amazing to see what is involved. It sure is helping pass the time down here in chill Melbourne.

So Stuart, that is the effect with the black tinted resin and the Inegra after bagging?? looks freaky, cool freaky!!!. I guess you do another black tinted resin hot coat, sand , paint and sand???
I am wondering if you maybe do a clear hot coat so this is the final appearance on the bottom??? Dunno, just thinking aloud in public

I was thinking the same thing. Does it still have the breather and the peel ply on it in those shots?

Time to put you guys out of your MISERY!

It's the excess black resin coming through into the breather cloth. Here you go with some more pics

All is revealed. Back to the original plan Stuart. Looks great by the way, now I just need to lose 10 kgs so I can sail it.

Just saw the above pics on Facebook and worked it out. I've never had that pattern with breather cloth but I've never used breather cloth and black tinted resin together.
Is that orange plastic perforated? The stuff I use it a clear perforated plastic like the plastic french bread sticks come in.

That orange medium is perforated R1DER. I have some if you want to have a crack with it. I also have another which is peel-ply and breather in one, which is blue. Infusion medium but good for simple bagging of wet layup, too. Let me know if you want to try it
