Took my early Xmas present a 2015 6.2 Simmer Style Apex for a blast I should have rigged a 7.1m but I was eager to give the new sail ago. I was surprised by how much low end grunt it had and was able to get a fat bastard like me going. I was very underpowered but once pumped onto the plane the sail felt very balance and stable one of the nicest sails to sail I have sailed so easy and comfortable I have a feel with a bit more wind with a bit more consistence this will be a great blasting sail for me.

I think Simmer Colours have really improved this year, wanted to get the burnt orange but the Yellow look good on the water.

Was surprised to see my 2sec peak on the sail was higher than other out on bigger cammed race sails admittedly they were under fined and boarded for the conditions, But then again the Simmer Style Apex was used to win the PWA indoor event in Poland this year so it is a very fast crossover sail. I am looking forward to getting the sail out fully powered.

I liked the 6.2mApex so much I got a 5.7m!
