The club is having its first Virtual beer and catch up via zoom, Thursday October 14th 7.30pm.
It's an informal chat that may happen over two separate zoom sessions pending upon time, it's for all members and non members that are interested in being involved or becoming members in the future.In general to discuss the following topics in a general ideas and thoughts forum and uncover keen participants that may be able to bring some skills to the table.
There is fair bit in just talking about the below, so some of it might carry over into next zoom's, item 1 is the main topic.

1. Developing a club vision statement and goal for the short and long term future, branding, what , who , where and how?
2. Building membership and participation in events in ALL formats of the sport, this may include, GPS/Speed sailing, Free sailing, Wave sailing, One Design, Long Board, Foiling, Wind Wings.
3. Promoting the sport and club to the public , new members , grow the sport
4. Developing physical assets and a base to better achieve the above, what's required,
5. Exploration of new and exciting events in other locations, such as North Queensland winter events
