Today was way beyond my windsurfing ability Jeff!

I had a good vantage point off the pier at Wello to take the photos.

Laird said he was very comfortable on the 4.7 Wave.
Not bad for a 2007 NP Zone. Still feeling it.
That's Laird not me sailing.

Lara's on the 4.4 Zone of the same vintage.

As for the 84 JP Freestyle Wave, it just keeps on giving.

love all the old kit that came out for the event, (works just as well as the new stuff in those winds!) everyone getting air and smashing tight gybes, seems heaps of crew still have an old tiny wave board and 4m sail stored in glass with a hammer on the outside...."in case of cyclone break glass" ! :)

even better loved how many people came out to play, great fun, heaps of old faces, i need to get my cyclone kit sorted though..a 5.6m race sail 100ltr board in 30+ on a bumpy lake was a fair work out!

Haha yep that was my first set of wave sails and board, I used the Combat 4.0 of around same vintage on 3 of the 4 days and even got out on the boys JP 68L Twinser Quad Friday and wished I'd used it in the waves Sunday arvo to for the crazy chop on the back side of the reef and the squalls coming through. A lot of old gear got a run out on the weekend and made it hard to know who was who on the water...couple of shots from late Sunday arv sesh
