WINDWANDERERS and SUNSHINE COAST BOARD SPORTS
Presents
The national HOUR OF SPEED
The hour category in GPSTC, Sail anywhere in Australia in November.
$5 entry fee
Entries open on the 15th October via WindWanderers website www.windwanderers.org.au/ and close on the 31st October.
No late entries
You must prepay and enter via KA72 website. The tracks are also to be processed by KA 72. A special event page will be available on this site.
Competitors must be a registered AWA member -so join a local club.
Rules are as per GPSTC.
Product prizes are supplied by SUNSHINE COAST BOARD SPORTS for each division in GPSTC

You will be able to enter the November Hour of Power from midnight tonight.
To enter you will need to register (its free) with KA 72 and then go to the competitions tab and follow the links. Once you have entered your name will be added to the competition and all data that you enter from your gps in November will be included in the competition.

I'm doing the math for the comp. Yes it has divisions. They are all visible on the results page ( www.ka72.com/Competitions/ResultsPage/GroupId/48 )
Note that page is showing last November's results until the competition starts.

As for prizes, the sponsor is providing prizes, but the guy organizing it is overseas on holidays at the moment so I don't have any information on what they are. KA72 will be kicking in some random participation goodies, not based on results, so anyone in the competition is in the running. These will be announced about halfway through the month.

KA SAILS and TRIBAL FINS have just come on as sponsors - offering some hoodies and T shirts and a tribal fin. CALOUNDRA BOARDSPORTS are supplying prizes for each GPSTC division, I believe that these items will be things like harness lines, downhaul pullers ,T shirts, rashies etc. KA72 are supplying some random prizes, WE will let you know as the month progresses.

This is a reminder that Tuesday the 31st of October is the last day you can enter the NATIONAL HOUR OF SPEED. At the moment we have 40 entries from all around the country including women and juniors hopefully we can reach 50 plus.
It is not too late to join the fun - entries close midnight tomorrow night.

Almost half way through the comp already with a lot of competitors on the board now. Some great powerful "hours" have been coming through from around the country! Keep em coming
