some ideas on where to go next.
The rubbish tip, you can't sell that to someone, even giving it to them would be rude as they would have take it to the tip for you.
Seriously a board that old, falling apart as you describe is potentially dangerous as it will most likely break at the worst possible time.
Thank you. That's exactly the type of advice that I was looking for, less the judgy bit.

There's no way I would try to cover up its cracks to sell it. Full disclosure with photos of every part, close ups of the cracks and all. Sails etc are all still good. Having said that, I think your tip idea might be the safest option. Someone else posted a photo of an original OD snapped in two. Crikey that's definitely a risk. Thanks again.

OMG. The tip it is then! Thanks for the photo. I was going to take it out on the waves one last time but having seen that pic, I think it's last journey will be to the tip.

I think you should either fix it...probably impossible at the age of the board, given the structural issues, but experts on here may know if it is possible OR pay your own tip fees since selling it would be inadvisable and unconscionable since it sounds defective and not fit for purpose today. The parts of the board (excluding defective hull): including fin, centreboard, mast, uni, track, straps, boom and sail etc. may still be useable and able to be sold for a small amount to someone else with a good condition original OD stock board or you could replace the board with a good condition plastic OD stocky. Lastly buy a new Windsurfer LT and attend the Mid Winters at Blowing Bowen !
Awesome. Thank you for your advice. Windsurfer LT sounds like a great idea. And I'll advertise the rest of it sans hull. Hull goes to tip. In fact I may cut it in half myself to stop it being salvaged.
