If low tide sailing at Gold Coast is not enough now there is another obstacle.
House Boats.
As today 2 houseboats moored just in our 50 meters wide sailing channels between one shallow bank and another .
Passing few times I managed to ask politely the owner on board if could move his boat a hundred meters away from our route.
On second pass guy get excited shouting some obscenities , on third promise to shoot me on fourth pass,
guy jumped into his inflatable boat with outboards and simply ram into my windsurfer full speed that grab my rig/ sail and trash on this boat !!!
Fortunately at least 3 windsurfers saw whole accident, 1 kite instructor just 50 meters away, so Gold Coast Water Police has now plenty of evidences.
Plenty of tourists on the bank must have also wrong impression about our wild west water manners where powerboats are now engaged in the running over sailors.

Houseboat guy is known to water sports community here from aggression but in my opinion no amount of drugs consumed on the day could excuse such behavior. Now have a look at my GPS logs.
This is example how most of the usual my sailing looks on Marine Parade GC.

Here is Boat ramming windsurfer session as today .

More action on the ground taking pictures and witness accounts ....

Did the water police come to the spot ? What number should we call if similar bad things happen next time?

Take trimmer with you next sail Macro! I'm sure these things can be sorted with a friendly 'gentle discussion'

School holiday madness is here, the only real solution to beat the crowds is to sail out the back in the ocean where there is no competition for space!

Not really, I did jump wet into my ute and drive to 40-44 Seaworld Drive , to Gold Coast Water Police Office to file report about accident.

After initial telephone call we all expected here for water police to show up, since their office is just 500 meters across the channel, in straight line of my sailing.

Maybe somebody must be first properly minced by boat propeller , next time.

Also beside GPS we could now sail always with GoPro, something like a car dash cam will be useful.

Glad you didn't get hurt Pete. Good job reporting him. What a nutter!

With southerlies coming there should be plenty of backup arriving.

The silly season has begun.

Unbelievable stuff. Jet ski attitude on a houseboat!! You can't win.

I have to agree with Jonesysail. Forget about the aggro in crowded waterways. Go off the beach into the open ocean, especially in these Northerly conditions when the swell is usually small. Once you get over the hump of bashing through the shorebreak, you'll never go back.

Good grief hope glad your ok Peter. That's essentially assault and destruction of private property, so let's hope that hot head spends the holidays behind bars. Make sure you get some other witnesses

Hey Tony, is the other one still there? was it "on" ? It will just be ** for next few weeks, and previously midweek was fantastic but yesterday not much water and lots of people and houseboats.

Today was fantastic. None of the houseboats on the way.
Water Police may scary them away.Same wind as yesterday or even less but what a sailing when the water is clear of boats.
What is also interesting that on this ultra short run there was today about 10 kiters and 6 other windsurfers and 4 crab pots on the way.
Somehow there is not problem, unless suddenly whale houseboat arrive and damage everybody fun
This is how 1and half hour sailing looks like today at Marine Parade , low tide.

and here what a damage could do when just one or two boats moored in our sailing channel. All they need is to move boat 100 meters away and everybody happy.

and everything change suddenly to this

And yet this run will still be miles bigger than your micro dick........
I didn't try to kill macro.......im just stoked someone did try, but its not all happiness for me.........im very disappointed in the conviction of the glorious houseboat people.......
Im thinking although they did want to kill him, thier conviction would have been a lot stronger if they had just spent five minutes listening to him......

Not this gay again. Is sea breeze going to get up and do something about it every one else manages to have a discussion then he comes in talking about penis size trying to start fights . Just block him for good

Thanks guys for support. I did all this reporting effort for our water sport community.Could happen to everybody, just happen to be me....Hopefully that reporting eventually benefit in more respect to windsurfing (means -don't aggravate windsurfer and expect get away easy) and improve safety on our waters.
