Manly Rockwall Finally Finished

For those that have not been down to have a look its basically all finished. Some roped off grass area near stairs to allow new grass to grow, still plenty of rigging space. Stairs still intact, carpark open.

Now all we need is some wind....

I just came to Australia and never been in Manly. Where is the place to go to water with windsurf board? Those rock stairs looks very risky...

Yes mate thats were we sail from and its not risky at all when the winds up from SE,NE it's a great place to sail from.

It was a bit duanting the first time I carried my gear down the steps, so I carried the board and sail separately in 2 trips

Once you get used to it, carrying the board and sail together is pretty straightforward.

It has the advantage of not being effected by tide (except in really low tides). All other sailing spots on the bay (except for Queens beach at Redcliff) are severly effected by tide, with long carries (up to 100m) through the mud, rocks and shellfish, with any tide lower than mid tide.
