Many of us probably still remember our first day in the foot straps. The day when you realised that, even though windsurfing felt fast before, you did not know the half of it. This little vid is a homage to that feeling. Well done Robbie ;) A summer well spent.

Well done. We are all still reminded of it with the first gust of each new session.

That last spill looked like a long swim!
I bit the bullet on Sunday when the wind got up a bit and practiced trying to get feet sliding straight into the straps as i came up from water start, sail raked back, harness straps dangling ready to hook in. POW... straight on the plane and flying downwind! Needless to say there were a few big grins.

Well done!
now you'll be able to crash at much higher speed in a lot stronger wind!!

Nice video always great feeling when you get in the straps and planning nothing like it. Only started sailing again in Jan and have had a great time. I still remember the first day I got planing in the straps it Is a double edged sword sometimes, awesome feeling but edge of control can also get painful and expensive when you on stack at speed. But wouldn't miss it. Congratulations
