The last 4-5 months has seen my usual contract work slowing to a crawl. Rather than go hand out to the government I've undertaken a project I have wanted to do for some time, to start addressing key issues such as waste, recycling and the need for an increased local manufacturing presence. My aim is to showcase what can be done with materials and products that are no longer usable by applying professional design & best practice local manufacturing. At present I'm focusing on the use of timber & carbon fiber tubes.
The issue I now face is I have run out of broken masts & booms, SUP paddle shafts etc... to continue. Please let me know if you've anything laying around unused that you might be willing to hand over. Cheers
Below are some of examples of products made mostly of off-cut & excess timber, old-broken tables and fractured fiber tubes.
