Just found this... was my first windsurfing gps from before the GPSTC was begun. Before GT-31 was available. Has to be about 15yrs old.
Just add 2x AAA batteries. It still fires up but not sure if firmware still working.
From memory, cost me about the same as my new GW60 cost me now.
New watch certainly more aesthetic!

I think they came out in around 2003-4.

I still have one too but mine is the 201 model. Still works. Just fired it up. One big problem with them was the connection cradle which I had enless trouble wiht. Bad connection for charging and downloads.

There are a few of those buried on the bottom of the speed course at Sandy Point. When we first got them we thought the waterproofing was good enough so we wore them like a watch on our arms. Unfortunately the strap pins could be dislodged in a crash. Later we found they were problematic without using a waterproof bag.

Just put new batteries in mine and after 10min locking on to satellites, working as before.
Yea, it states it's waterproof, but always had mine in a bag, or two.
I had the alkaline battery one as it was cheaper... and I was poor.

Still got mine but won't start up anymore. An important part of our history as it started the revolution

It was the only one to have. !!!
