How many litres were they?
No one really measured the volume in those days. They were all hand shaped so not help with CAD to get the volume.
I am guessing that many were less than 50 litres, but when boards are that small and narrow, the Volume become pretty irrelevant. They are what we used to call 'sinkers'.

The width and length become much more defining than their volume, and you need a LOT of wind to get them going. Having more or less volume makes virtually no difference to starting at these sizes.
