I tried finding some records of 2hr Average Speed List, does such a list exist?
Thought you guys would know for sure?

Cheers

Not that I know of. You can always create a custom time division in GPS-Results or RealSpeed for the 2 hr if you want to check you own though.

There would have been a few good 2 hr runs done by some of the big distance sailors I think.

Thanks for that info, Glad I'm not going internet research blind

Guessing that it's the guys/girls that have done the massive marathons efforts that will have the best 2 hrs, but keen to see a few personal 2 Hr PB's if anyone has them.

Wow that's a serious effort, amazing speed for that time...one of the lakes at Mandurah WA?

There's a goal that's worth chasing! 100k's in under 2 hrs!...I'm thinking the above effort is 'world class'...perhaps world best...???

Given the numbers perhaps I should rephrase the question...

What's the quickest anyone has sailed 100k's?

I originally came from windsurfing and still go for a sail board every once in a while.

thanks for the 2 hr - 100km updates guys,
we've been hoping to add a 2Hr to the QLD FreeRace Challenge this season, but seriously we have had 2 months of no windy Sunday's and bugger all decent winds at all...so struggling at the moment.

and especially for FlyingCab, no Idea why you bat on about kiting in a Windsurf Speed forum, but just for your amusement, I came from windsurfing and sometimes still kite, this was my little interpretation of your 20cm remark yesterday, just off a crappy small wave on my local beach in 15knts yesterday.. tad higher than your 20cm..its pretty easy to do when your attached to basically a mini paraglider, I'm not rating it...have been much higher when the swell is up..not that hard, I came in after an hour was a bit boring.

26-27knts for 2hrs ...now there is a hard physical challenge that I'd like to give a crack!

I like it mate! you came in because it was boring? try different things and you won't get bored, just like when your sail boarding your constantly trying to get your fastest speed so you stay addicted. the highest I've gotten on my sail board is around 2m off a wave. when i sail board i only go in the waves
