shipping gear from Tassie to NSW

I know other states have been mentioned but is Tassie different as it's 'overseas".?

No its the same, items go to melb or adel then like normal.
I got 2 sails from there, about $120 $130 it was & 5 6 days i think.
thats with trans direct online.

Whatever you do, tick the box for insurance and get some photos of the board before and after it is packaged up.

I've had one board arrive from Tassie to NSW in perfect condition. I've had another board arrive as a total write-off - the rail had been skewered by a forklift tine. Covered by insurance thankfully.

Thanks.. Good point taking before photos. I'd noted the insurance tip from another post.Should ban forklifts..

I've sent sails to Tassie before, all arrived in 2 days or so from Melb. Always tick insurance

Transdirect is quoting online c $400.. Ive put in one for Ego. The boards only worth $200 so if I can't get a cheap carrier it's not worth pursuing.Ego depot to depot is $255. I assume they will probably be the cheapest?

I've searched seabreeze but can't find all the other posts about board freight... Anyone got the links as I know there have been heaps..?
