currently trying to get rid of our 2012 sails.
have used sea breeze buy and sell which has been very effective.
but theres always the chance you might come across an idiot.
had a guy text me, beat me down, tell me he's going to transfer the funds, ask for bank details, and request for them to be sent perth.
so sea breeze is working away, the phones still ringing and Im telling everyone they're sold.
two days later no cash in the bank, no reply to text, no answer phone (he got the misses to answer the phone and i could hear him telling her to say he was in the shower)haha.
what a knob.
don't know this tools name because he wouldn't reply to my text.
his ph number is 0422024640 so if anyone knows him and doesn't mind shaming him, go ahead.
feel free to send him a text too!
beware the bargain hunter.
anyway thanks to all the genuine buyers out there.

Works actually. I sell a few bits a year no prob.
Serious buyers do not give the "I may or may not drop in sometime this month".
I've been selling a bit of windsurfing gear this year and everyone I've dealt with has been a pleasure to deal with. I've sold a board via eBay which worked out well as the buyer was local. I was dreading attempting to prepare a board for transport across the country. I also sold stuff sort of via Seabreeze but not through the buy and sell. Also sold a sail by being at the right place at the right time.
There is a bit of a resurgence of windsurfing in NSW so I've been happy to give away or sell older kit at low prices and newer gear for moderate prices.
