ok i need to get a new board and im looking at a 2006 JP X-cite 95L and im a 73kg sailor just seeing if anyone can help with this so i get the right board
Tabou Rockets 95ltres are an easy board to gybe..I have a 2008 model ( they have double concaves .I think the earlier ones didn't.
The Jp is a similar style of board ( although not sure about a 2006 one) so should be user friendly too.
hmm ok cheers
ok i need to make a choice between 2 boards so theres a F2 Maui Project Style - 257 cm, 94 litres or the jb 2006 JP Australia X-Cite - 252 cm, 95 litres. i want to get the best one to help me with my gybes
How far along with the gybing are you?
If you are just learning to gybe something with a bit more volume and especially width will give you the stability to wobble through your early attempts and progress faster. I'm thinking 110 -120L.
Once you are regularly completing over 50% go to the smaller board.
The smaller boards are easier to carve but harder to stay on through the rig flip and after.
