Grimly named Slaughter Bay

IT'S a pity the English killed everything in those days Stuthepirate.
in this case sadly hundreds of breeding turtles.but it does connect to Emily bay ,named after a beautiful women .and no sharks .
no kiters here, only windsurfers,no launching beaches for them,REEF.
outside the bay is hard core too, nice big swell to ride ,islands to sail too.

well done .John .you know your spots.

I just thought the pictures where worth showing ,it is a great spot to sail.if you know where the rocks are. almost as good a safety bay.

Hope those pics are in sequence! Hate to think you got overtaken by a swimmer.

Awesome pictures! Amazing location. Did the drone follow you via some sort of tracking device or was it being flown by someone on the beach?

Insane, how much wind does it get there? Flight isn't cheap!

There's always plenty wind ,it's just the direction that limits us .we like NE for ocean sailing .its not for. The faint hearted...which is this time of year ,with the odd ssw as pictured .come June - October southerly s is the bay sailing .july is our windiest month ,25-30 knot days .it s my favourite .
Flight are cheaper in the winter months .
i actually thought the price was ok$1000-1500 car accomadation & return flight / week.
check forecast before booking ,week on week off with the wind .

burnt pine travel centre.has deals .

i have spare boards.

Whilst the rear hand drag is pretty cool, if you really want to max out style and add some more cred, go for the front hand water drag I reckon in my opinion
