how to pump in 0-4 knots

Here are my tips on what to focus on when pumping in 0 knots (pump as you were on downwind like in the wideo here:



If there a direction, change into this style:

This is the pumping technique I suggest in 0 to 4 knots of wind.

Very useful info if you're an aspiring Olympic RSX sailor or longboard racer.

The rest of us are doing something else in 0-4 knots....

Had to do option 2 for 5km when the wind went to zero on the other side of the estuary.

F'ken hard work, but got back

A few good points ..
try it on a 100 litre board ,its even more fun .not.swim it in.
