could anyone help me with some names of good couriers at a reasoniable price to send sailboarding gear interstate from sydney
Just had a good experience with e-go.com.au
I had a board sent up from Melbourne (thanks Bondalicci) to Sydney - Depot to Depot.
Bondy dropped it of at his nearest depot at 10am in the morning I had it in my hot little hands by Midday the next day for just less than $70.![]()
I prefer depot to depot not only for the reduced cost, but also I believe the less it gets handled the less than chance it has of getting damaged.
www.e-go.com.au are cheap especially if you can do with a 'depot to depot' shipment, but a bit slow sometimes and the tracking system doesn' always work, so better take a picture of the package. You can get a quote online which goes by volume, so it pays to pack the stuff as small as possible.
Got some gear coming from WA via startrackexpress.com.au - organised by shop owner (very good freight price imo).
Always good service with Smartsend, would recommend, a bit more expensive but insurance is easy to take out and very reliable.
Had several bad experiences with e-go and their associated courier Hunters express.
very recently had a sail shipped from perth to brisbane with allied express without any problems. they delivered it on a saturday morning
