Thumbs Up

I've recently purchased a used board, shipped from a dealer interstate, so not physically examined prior to purchase.
It's only a few years old.

I havent used it yet, but i noticed that the deck is slightly softish at the rear (maybe a few mils), probably where the weight of the rider sits.
The board is one of those "wood" construction types. The board seems light enough and I don't think it has any water in it.

So, for someone who has seen this before, is there any risk using it in this state? Is it likely to get worse?

TIA

Yes it is likely to get worse.
Good discussion here.

A professional repair would cut out the soft area, remove soft foam and repair glass/ carbon reinforce the deck and repaint.

Depends on how much you use it and how bad it is as to how long it will last.
Photos will always help the discussion.
