Does anyone have any experience windsurfing on the Tweed river?
The missus wants to go on a houseboat holiday for a week mid June, taking off from near the mouth and heading upstream.
Should I take my gear or just concentrate on fishing and drinking beer?

there may be a couple of spots you could have a sail, Chinderah or Fingal area could be ok. Terranora Broadwater will most likely be too sheltered and very gusty, could be fun to have a wally or something like that but I would probably give anything else a miss.

Better off taking a SUP along if you want to explore a bit and get off the boat from time to time. If you don't have one there are a few places on the Goldy that could probably organise a hire for the entire time.

That's a good idea with the SUP,I will look into it.
Having a good look on google maps it looks like I may be able to sail around the fingal area, maybe I will take my 130 lt as it is no trouble and I know if I don't I won't be sailing at all!
Cheers for the help
