For those of you who missed this film last night, you missed:
A young Nicole Kidman.
Fiberglass wave boards.
Mast base within about 2ft. of the front of the board.
Single and tri fins (probably no toe-in on the outer fins

Drop front boom.
Deflection of the aluminium boom arm as it came under load.
Pure rope as the harness line.
Rope harness line ends being AT LEAST 2ft apart on the boom
The hero using a wave sail having 3 and a half battens.
Said sail beating a 5-batten wave sail in a race.
Bright sail colours.
Fully rigging a sail whilst up to the hero's neck in water.
Fluro wetsuits.
A wild seal kissing the male hero when he fell into the water.

Yes, I have a lot of time on my hands. 
Not to mention sailing from mandurah to trig beach in 10 minutes in order to make the start of his heat.

Is it true they were going to make a kiting version but nobody wanted to hold the camera
As a kid the shark scene kept me out of the water for a while. Now when I see it, it's comical.
