I've got one on my iPhone 5, so far so good! I know a few that take it out with them windsurfing and no problems! Just remember to keep the latch closed and the little o rig one, fully screwed up!

I know a close mate of the designer. His case has copped a bit and still going strong.

This could be amazing for on-water Snapchats!

Or you could buy a Sony Experia which is waterproof!

I have had one of these, also had an otter box and now use a survivor case.
They all seem fine for protecting the phone but they all suffered the same problem in that sound to the microphone (iPhone 5) was extremely poor
And the other person on the call struggled to hear you.
Assuming my phone is working properly....

Hi all,
I've been using mine for over 7 months on a 5. Mine is subject to dropping every day and the occasional half volley kick if I try to hackey sack it mid-drop. My two yr old has chewed it, which frankly is the ultimate test.. It gets sweated into and caked with gyprock and glass dust from working with FRP.

The only time it let water in was taking it for a 20min snorkle to 1.5m videoing a seal at little island..that was about 5months ago and such a small amount of water the phone didn't pull any in.

Since the leak I have regularly used light silicone grease on the seals once a month or before I take it offshore. With the grease I'm happy to submerge it. Same deal for Go-pro/camera housings and underwater torches...you have to lube the seals all the time if the seals are getting disturbed to any degree.

Audio is fine if the case is clean but the fine membranes for the speakers and mic are impeded with dust/grime so regular cleaning is a must.

I also have a white one as my phone is black and it goes some way to protecting it from cooking in the sun.

If I was to start again I would have the phone treated with a waterproofing injection process, and I would a spare case that I had pre-tested and greased...and I would take it diving albeit in my waterproof gps pouch...but then that would be a bit too organised..

I have a brand new black one for a 4 or 4s if anyone wants one for $50

Just had a fifo client walk in with one - so I had to ask. His had a chip on the side that was made from a 10m drop down a stairwell on-site, the phone had no damage at all.

I just wish they made one for my Samsung! :-(
