Since these boards are still used and raced down under ...

Can someone confirm the dimensions and weight of the original WOD/Windsurfer One Design aka Wally ?
The son is building new ones which are 12 feet/360 cm x 2 ft 2 inches / 65 cm wide and 50 lbs/22.7 kilos
I am unsure what their volume is .... earlier post where i asked about this board suggested 250 liters ??

Would appreciate these numbers for my longboard spreadsheet

Thanx in advance

Based on the current hull (retractable centreboard) being raced at the moment in Australia, the plan dimensions
are 3.65m long x 0.65m wide. The weight of the board without centreboard, but with skeg is around 21kgs. This
can however vary by a half a kilo either way. Based on my calculations you should assume the hull's volume is at
best 200 litres. It's nowhere near 250 l. In the distant past I've heard a figure of only 180 litres but I think that is
way too modest.
Although it doesn't affect the above numbers the OD's rocker line is where the main differences lie between this
class of board & other one design raceboard classes. There are large variations with the OD which do impact on
its overall performance, but that discussion (if needed) is for another day & time !
