In windsurfing terms.....when we say your board is "planning".....is the word pronounced as:

"Plan"-ning as in a Project "Plan"? or is it

"Plane"-ning as in travelling in an aero"plane"?

sorry to be pedantic, but also the spelling is with 1 'l' : planing - not planning. Unless you are planning your next windsurfing adventure... :-)

When being pedantic make sure you are accurate, I think you mean one 'n'

If there is a good forecast - Failing to plan is planning to fail to plane?

It may seem simple plan to plane,
but in practise it's not so plain and simple no matter how carefully you plan.

Unless, of course, you are flying to Maui....

Then you can definitely plan to plane.

.....and you can even plan to plane while on the plane.

So slowing down from a speed run is deplaning, not to be confused with getting of an aircraft (usually in the US)

^^^ deplaning is when you have shaved too much wood off a door edge, and proceed to glue all the shavings back on?
